I am going to leave the title as the name of the file, because I can't really come up with anything better. I have the feeling this will be a continuing trend.
So uh, I drew the outlines and stuff last night, and then colored it all today to get my mind off of some bad things. Practicing with shading! I made the shading on this look a little more watercolor-like/paint-like by using some different brushes. Came out alright...
Admittedly, I added a transparent gradient over it to sorta wash out the colors a little. It also gives the illusion of lighting, despite already having shading! I think this counts as cheating and laziness at the same time. At least, I've seen a couple of people who always complain about how gradients are always lazy and should never be used, omg. Oh well, I rather like how this looks with the gradient.
So overall... good shading practice, I guess.
