You see, I decided that it was getting too cluttered on this account... ugly old crap from back when I first started and didn't care about my art looking decent let alone being worthy to be praised. Fan art. Original stuff. So, what to do with such a cluttered account.

I was originally just going to abandon this account, leave it as an archive account, and make two new ones; one for fan art and one for my original stuff. But then I'd have to resubmit my good fan art from this year, rewatch friends and favorite artists on my new accounts, etc. etc. Too much of a hassle, really...

So, I just decided to make one new account for my original stuff, and keep this account as a fan-art-only and old-crappy-stuff-archive account. Yaaaaay. =P

But anyways... some of you might be wondering, "Haly, why don't you just delete your old stuff? Start anew and junk?"

I caaaaan't! I genuinely don't have the heart to! I don't like my old stuff, sure, but to be honest I want to keep them to show how much I've improved since starting here. Seriously. I don't want to look like every other dA coward who deletes their old stuff so they look like they've never made mistakes and they're always perfect. Noooo! I don't wanna be like that! D:

And, seriously, you can't look at the first couple of things I drew, compare them to my current stuff (And I mean the stuff where I genuinely try for semi-realism/acceptable anatomy, not the lazy cartoony stuff.) and say that I haven't improved. Again, compare my first couple of things to the stuff where I actually try to make good anatomy. My current stuff is certainly not something that anyone would want to put in a art gallery, but it's much easier on the eyes than my earlier stuff. :)

Sooo... yeah, this account is now a fanart only account, and an official archive account for my old stuff. Also, this is still my main account. I'll be making important journals/announcements/whatever here, not on the other account. Well, for the most part. :/

Also, although I am certainly not a perfect artist, I feel that I have vastly improved my skills since I first started my dA account. So yay on that. :meow:
