Creative titles? No, of course not.

So, end of another school year. Finished a 300th milestone request for the World Three blog, I'm sure most of you have seen those by now!~
So, some things of note, I guess:
-----Second year of college is official done for me! Yaaay! Next school year is when I'm starting to get into some
real engineering classes. The past two years have been mostly foundation stuff, Calculus, Physics, etc.

Over the summer, I'm taking a programming class and Macroeconomics. They won't be taking too much of my time. Especially Macroeconomics, since that's only for about half of the summer. :3
-----I received a funny little message on my Tumblr today:
[link]An explanation of the whole Japanese Pixiv thing is in that post, btw.
Let it be known now, in case it wasn't obvious before: I am aware that I am not an amazing artist! I am decent at best, below crap-tier at worse. It's rather subjective, honestly.

I honestly do drawing as a hobby. I don't see myself making any big amounts of money off my art in the future. Not even enough to cover minimum wage or something. I wouldn't mind selling art, maybe, but I think at best the most I can hope for is just some extra cash for treats or whatever, not enough to pay for living expenses. I really don't see myself getting THAT good! That's why I'm studying engineering. I am a hobby artist, not a professional one~
EDIT: Yeah, I know I had that one deviation advertizing for commissions. Honestly, I'm just gonna delete that now. I still don't feel like I'm at the level where I can do real commissions. Maybe later! END EDIT
I don't mind critiques, though. Sometimes the hands I draw look too small compared to the body, sometimes the poses are awkward, etc. I may be doing this for fun, but I don't mind if people want to give me advice on how to improve. Critique helps, so it's not like a bad thing! x3
The only thing I honestly don't like is when people say "This is bad" and leave it at that. Thank you so much for your insight, Captain Obvious! But come oooon, at least say/explain/elaborate about what you
didn't like! Is it the lineart? The pose? The colors? Do you just not like the character? (In that case, why are you even looking at art of characters you don't like? :U )
SO, feel free to point out anything that looks iffy to you! You don't even need to point out things you like, you're more than welcome to point out only the bad things.

Note that I know that my much older works have a LOT of mistakes and issues with them, but then, you don't have to be an art major to realize that. Just saying!

-----Vacation-cruise next week with parents, but hopefully I'll be able to work on more for the World Three blog during that time. My mom has an iPad, and she recently got one of those rubber tipped styluses for it. It works wonderfully for drawing! The only downside is that I have to wear a glove on my drawing hand while using it, so that the iPad only registers touching from the stylus and not my hand touching the screen. Other than that, it's not as uncomfortable to draw on the tablet than I thought! So I'm planning on using that for drawing.
I may end up using that thing for drawing from now on... honestly, my mom doesn't use her iPad very much.

For anyone who's curious, I'm using SketchBook Express for drawing. It's a free version of SketchBook Pro, apparently. The only downside is that it limits you to 3 layers, since it's just a free version. I don't mind, honestly. What I've been doing is basically one layer for sketching, one for outlines, then I delete the sketch layer so that I have one for coloring and one for a potential background.
On that note... I haven't drawn any sort of background in a long time! I should really practice with that. :/
Ahh... I think that's about it for now! Hope you all have a great summer!~
